Annotation / Abstract
Abstract. This article was carried out within the framework of the targeted scientific and practical research project ALM-202310202738 "Development of innovative profiling technology for use in public safety activities," in which the process of analyzing personal characteristics based on user activity in social networks and forming their psychological and social portrait - the issue of cyberprofiling - is deeply covered. The theoretical foundations of cyberprofiling, applied methods, technological approaches, possibilities of practical application, and legal and ethical aspects are analyzed. The article extensively covers the dangers arising on social networks, the protection of personal data and their application in scientific research, and provides scientific insights into the future prospects of this area.

For example, in the field of marketing, cyberprofiling serves as an important tool for studying customer interests and consumer behavior, while in HR departments it is used for evaluating candidates and analyzing their personal qualities.
However, the widespread use of cyberprofiling technologies also creates a number of challenges. One of the most significant problems is ensuring privacy and maintaining the confidentiality of personal information. Every individual expects their private life to be protected; however, excessive openness and the desire to display personal information on social networks may lead to various risks and negative consequences. There is also a possibility that the misuse of cyberprofiling results may result in violations of human rights. Therefore, when conducting cyberprofiling, it is essential to strictly comply with international legal norms, human rights conventions, and the requirements of national legislation [7].
Scientific analysis demonstrates that cyberprofiling in cyberspace enables the formation of broad and in-depth conclusions about individuals based on their digital footprints on social networks. This makes it possible to apply cyberprofiling as an effective tool not only in academic research but also in practical activities. At the same time, there is a growing need to improve the legal, ethical, and technological foundations of this technology, which will determine the future development of cyberprofiling.
The issue of cyberprofiling of social network pages is particularly relevant for Uzbekistan, where the active digitalization of society and the rapid growth of internet users, especially among young people, have transformed social media into a central platform for communication, self-expression, and public discussion. In this context, cyberprofiling presents both new opportunities and significant challenges in ensuring social and national loyalty.
